Amboni Caves

Mount Longido is a striking volcanic mountain located in northern Tanzania, near the town of Longido and approximately 120 km from Arusha. Rising to 2,878 meters (9,439 feet), it is known for its rugged beauty, steep slopes, and dramatic views of the surrounding plains, including the iconic silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro on clear days. Unlike Kilimanjaro, Longido is less crowded, offering a quieter, more intimate trekking experience suitable for adventurers seeking a challenging day hike or overnight climb.
