You will then visit the Arusha Giraffe Center, where you’ll have the unique opportunity to walk alongside wild giraffes and observe them up close in a natural setting while learning about conservation efforts.

Travel toward the lush slopes of Kilimanjaro to visit a traditional Chagga village in Marangu. Learn about the history, farming traditions, and daily life of the Chagga people, including coffee cultivation and preparation. Explore underground caves once used during tribal conflicts and walk through banana and coffee plantations.
You will also hike to a beautiful local waterfall tucked within the forested foothills, where you can enjoy the cool mountain air and scenic surroundings. In the evening, settle into the historic Kibo Hotel in Marangu, known for its welcoming atmosphere and proximity to Kilimanjaro.

Begin your day with a scenic hike to Materuni Waterfalls, cascading from the forested slopes near Kilimanjaro. Enjoy breathtaking views and the opportunity to cool off in the natural pool below the falls.
After Materuni, visit a traditional Maasai boma to learn about Maasai customs, pastoral life, traditional dress, and village structure. This cultural interaction offers meaningful insight into one of Tanzania’s most iconic communities.
Continue to Chemka (Kikuletwa) Hot Springs, a hidden oasis of crystal-clear, turquoise geothermal waters perfect for swimming and relaxation. You will also explore nearby Kikuletwa Waterfall before returning to Arusha in the evening.
Day 4: Tarangire National Park (Overnight in Karatu – Camping or Lodge Options)

After your safari, continue to Karatu for your overnight stay. You will have flexible accommodation options: choose between camping under the stars, staying in a comfortable lodge, or upgrading to a premium lodge for a more luxurious experience.
Day 5: Lake Natron Excursion (Overnight in Karatu)
Explore the dramatic landscapes surrounding Lake Natron, a striking soda lake known for its vivid colors and seasonal flamingo populations.
