Get ready for a day packed with adventure, challenge, and unforgettable experiences! Your journey begins with a convenient pick-up from your residence in Moshi or Arusha. From there, we drive to Moshi, where your cycling adventure kicks off at 8:00 AM.  

From Moshi, you’ll hop on your mountain bike with the guidance of our experienced cycling guide and set off on a thrilling 40km ride to the breathtaking Materuni Village, home to the third-largest waterfalls in Tanzania. The route is half uphill, half downhill—perfect for adventurers seeking both a challenge and a reward. Along the winding paths and lush landscapes, keep your eyes open—you’re almost guaranteed to spot colorful chameleons camouflaged among the greenery.  

Once you reach the spectacular Materuni Waterfalls, you’ll be rewarded with the sight and sound of crystal-clear waters crashing 90 meters into a natural pool below. The cool mist, fresh air, and dramatic scenery create the perfect moment to pause, refresh, and soak in the beauty of the Tanzanian highlands.  

After enjoying the falls, you’ll cycle back down to Materuni Village, where another adventure awaits—a traditional coffee tour. Learn the entire process of coffee making, from bean to cup, as the friendly Chagga locals guide you through hand-roasting, grinding, and brewing. Of course, you’ll get to taste some of the freshest and richest coffee you’ve ever had.  

To complete the experience, you’ll be served a delicious local lunch, fueling you for the final part of your adventure. With satisfied taste buds and full energy, you’ll hop back on your bike for the exhilarating ride back down to Moshi. The downhill stretch offers plenty of fun, speed, and scenic views, wrapping up the day with a rush of accomplishment and joy.
