Ngabobo Wildlife Corridor Bike Tour
Bike through the Ngabobo Wildlife Corridor with sweeping views of Kilimanjaro, Mt. Meru, and Ol Doinyo Orok. Meet friendly locals and watch for wildlife along this scenic route.
Travel just an hour west of Moshi and set out on an unforgettable 45 km cycling adventure through the spectacular Ngabobo Wildlife Corridor. This scenic route showcases sweeping mountain views, rich Maasai culture, and incredible opportunities to spot wildlife in its natural habitat.
Your ride begins in the tranquil village of Ngarenairobi, where you’ll follow a peaceful forest road that winds through the traditional Maasai villages of Sinya and Tingatinga before concluding in Sanya. As you pedal across open plains and gentle rolling terrain, you’ll enjoy breathtaking vistas of Mt. Kilimanjaro towering to the east, the majestic slopes of Mt. Meru, and Kenya’s striking Ol Doinyo Orok.
Along the way, you’ll have the chance to meet local Maasai communities, learn about their way of life, and experience the warmth of their culture. The Ngabobo Wildlife Corridor is also home to an impressive array of wildlife—keep your eyes open for Thomson’s gazelles, zebras, elands, ostriches, wildebeests, and, with a bit of luck, elephants roaming the landscape.
This full-day tour lasts approximately 8 hours, including your transfer to and from Moshi. Pickup from Arusha is also available, making this adventure easy to access from either location.
