Camping in Karatu

Migombani Camp is a scenic and well-equipped retreat located between Mto wa Mbu and Karatu, offering beautiful views overlooking Lake Manyara. Surrounded by nature, the camp provides a relaxed and comfortable setting with full facilities, including a swimming pool, restaurant, and bar—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration.



Guests can choose from several accommodation options to suit their travel style. Standard camping includes a quality tent with meals freshly prepared by our own cook, while furnished tents offer added comfort with meals served at the on-site restaurant. For those seeking even more comfort, cozy cottages are also available, with restaurant meals included.

Standard camping with meals is included in all Trips, Quests, Journeys, Expeditions, and Adventure Packages when camping in Karatu is selected as the lodging option. Upgrades to a furnished tent or cottage are easily arranged by paying the price difference, which will be discussed with you via email.
