Ride through Moshi’s vast 10,000-square-kilometer sugar plantations, an incredible landscape where endless green fields stretch toward the horizon. As you cycle, you’ll witness the full journey of sugar cultivation—farmers preparing the soil, tending crops, harvesting tall stalks of cane, and transporting them to nearby refineries. It’s a rare, up-close look at one of Tanzania’s most important agricultural industries.

The trail leads you along the scenic Kikavu River, where wildlife sightings are common. Keep an eye out for blue monkeys, baboons, vervet monkeys, and monitor lizards as they move through the trees and sunbathe along the riverbanks. On clear days, the towering peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro and the striking Blue Tanzanite Mountain create a spectacular backdrop for your ride.
